Discounts were offered both online and offline. Most of the international brands in India offered discounts under the Black Friday Sale banner.
The Black Friday sale began in the United States on the Friday following Thanksgiving Thursday. This day usually marks the start of the Christmas shopping season before the festival. In the United States, brands typically offer big discounts on Black Friday, but this has now gained momentum with brands around the world.

Online fashion retailer, Myntra is organizing its Black Friday Sales event from November 26 to 30 with 3,000 partner brands.

In terms of preparing sellers for Black Friday and Cyber Monday (BFCM), e-commerce company Amazon said more than 70,000 Indian exporters are launching more than 52,000 new products on Amazon’s global websites for BFCM 2021 sales. Amazon customers worldwide will be able to access a range of products in all categories including home and kitchen, science, technology, engineering and math toys, clothing and health and personal care of Indian exporters. Other categories include office products, jewelry, beauty, and furniture. The Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale started on Thursday, November 25 and ends on Monday, November 29.
