With his new post, Mr Tanjusay is expected to oversee the governments psycho-social services and social assistance to former rebels and extremists and their families.

Meanwhile, press secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said Marcos is already considering someone to lead the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO).

Someone is already considered. We cannot disclose it yet. So let’s wait. We won’t deny it,she said at a televised press conference.

Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero previously urged Mr. Marcos to immediately appoint a “high-calibre Cabinet member” to lead the PLLO after the president vetoed five measures approved by the 18e Congress.

Measures Mr. Marcos vetoed included a bill that would have created a special economic zone and free port in the San Miguel Corp airport project. in the province of Bulacan and tax relief for teachers in their service as election officials. Kyle Aristophere T. Atienza
